Insurance & Payment Notice: For individual therapy, insurance plans are verified and billed directly online through Headway. Because accepted insurances and provider credentialing update frequently, please check my Headway profile for the most up-to-date list of accepted insurance providers. Couples therapy is private pay only ($150) and does not accept insurance. Clinical supervision ($100/hr) is provided individually for social workers pursuing licensure. Under the No Surprises Act, self-pay clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.

PATIENT RIGHTS & POLICIES
Good Faith Estimate & Practice Policies
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers must give clients who are uninsured or self-paying an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including psychotherapy fees. You will receive this written estimate prior to your scheduled service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
Therapy appointments represent dedicated time reserved solely for you. I request at least 24 hours advance notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a session. Late cancellations or unattended sessions are subject to a standard $75 fee (as insurance cannot be billed for missed appointments).
Out-of-Network Superbills
If your insurance provider is not in-network, you may pay the private pay fee ($120) and receive a monthly itemized superbill upon request. The exceptions to this are Medicaid and Medicare recipients, and this is by law. Many commercial insurance plans offer out-of-network behavioral health benefits that may reimburse a significant percentage of your session costs.
